CCTM Teaching for Thinking with Math Reasoning Routines Event

CCTM is hosting a one-day learning institute on June 29 facilitated by Grace Kelemanik and Amy Lucenta, authors of Teaching for Thinking: Fostering Mathematical Teaching Practices through Reasoning Routines and Routines for Reasoning: Fostering the Mathematical Practices in All Students.  This full-day learning experience will provide practical strategies for engaging all learners with mathematical thinking.  Lunch is included. Book(s) can be purchased at a discounted rate during registration if you’re interested (not necessary).  Space is limited, so complete your registration today!

NCSM Summer Leadership Academy

NCSM’s Summer Leadership Academy is coming to Denver.  The three-day math education leadership academy will be June 26-28.  During the summer leadership academy, participants will focus on creating equitable mathematics classrooms and structures, advocate for equitable practices in mathematics teaching and learning, and more.   

Save the Date: 2023 Teaching and Learning CoLabs

The Teaching and Learning CoLabs will return this June with day-long professional learning events in Grand Junction (June 1), Greeley (June 14), and Pueblo (June 23).  Registration is now open.  Each location will feature multiple math sessions, including a CCTM session featuring math reasoning routines.
