Countdown to NCTM 2026

NCTM 2026 Annual Meeting & Exposition — Denver, CO, October 28–31

Around the corner and in our backyard, NCTM’s Annual Meeting and Exposition is being held in Denver, Colorado, October 28-31.

What should we be doing to prepare for this exciting opportunity?

MOST IMPORTANTLY: If you haven’t registered, there is still time! [Click HERE to Register]

Attending a conference is an exciting opportunity, and if you’ve been to one before you know all too well that there is a lot going on. Take a look at the conference schedule both online and in the NCTM App. Our board members have put together some guidance to help you prepare for NCTM26:

  • Pace yourself, schedule breaks the same way you schedule sessions

  • Find variety (big sessions, small sessions, in your grade level, other grade levels, sessions from big names, sessions from teachers, research sessions, exhibit hall time, etc.)

  • The volume of things you’ll learn can be overwhelming, so you might want to take some simple notes to reflect on. But you don’t have to make note-taking your job.

  • If a session isn’t resonating with you, it’s okay to leave and go find something else. It’s good to have backup choices if this happens or if a session is full.

  • Attending the same session with a colleague can be just as valuable as going to different sessions and comparing notes later.

  • Network! Network! Network! Build connections with others that provide new perspective, enjoy common interests with others from local communities and afar. Check out the networking and learning opportunities at the bottom of the online schedule!

Swing by the CCTM booth at NCTM… we look forward to seeing you there!
