April 2026 Board Message
April has a way of reminding us just how much ground we’ve covered—and how close we are to the finish line. Classrooms are full, calendars are packed, and the work right now is both demanding and deeply important. Across Colorado, math educators are showing up every day with persistence, creativity, and care for students. At CCTM, we see that work—and this year’s Summer Conference is designed as a celebration of it. Mathematics Rising: Teachers Leading the Ascent isn’t just our theme—it’s a reflection of the work you’ve been doing all year.
CCTM 2026 Annual Conference Registration
As we head into the final stretch, we invite you to join us in June for a conference experience that is both energizing and restorative. You’ll learn from Colorado educators leading meaningful work in their classrooms and districts, engage with emerging ideas like data science through our partnership with Data Science 4 Everyone, and connect with a statewide community committed to growing together. With Colorado preparing to host the NCTM Annual Meeting & Exposition 2026 this October, this summer offers a unique opportunity to build momentum, elevate our collective voice, and strengthen our professional community ahead of a national spotlight.
Finally, as shared in February, we are entering the next phase of our CCTM elections. Voting for Vice President, Secretary, and Regional Representatives will be opening soon, and we encourage all members to take part in shaping the future of our organization. Be on the watch for an email with the slate of candidates and your ballot.
Join us. Be part of what’s rising. And give yourself the space to recharge—you’ve earned it.
